Something tells me: This ain’t right?

Maybe it’s just me but i feel like Mandela 90th Birthday should include little African children dancing around with little tribal outfits on, and maybe Madonna and Elton John doing a little diddly to spice things up a bit. I would have never guessed this occasion to be a time that Eminem would resurface to make his comeback. Maybe I’m just confused. maybe I just don’t understand

Ummm I don’t really know how to approach this properly. So I guess I’ll leave it up to you guys to ponder amongst yourself. Because why in the world…..I mean I just….WHAT!!

Last month I told how the gig organiser, QUEEN rocker BRIAN MAY, was trying to tempt the controversial star out of retirement for the June 27 gig in London’s Hyde Park.

And not-so-Slim Shady has now agreed to dust down his mic.

An insider revealed: “We’re amazed to have Eminem on board.

“We wanted some of the greatest artists from recent times and Eminem was on the list.

“Brian contacted Eminem’s management on the off-chance and never expected him to go for it.

“It’s going to be explosive stuff and it’s certainly a big stage to make his comeback.”

These two are a rather unlikely match. While the legend that is Nelson needs no introduction, Eminem is well-known for less celebrated reasons.

He’s been involved in several brushes with the law and has been repeatedly slammed for his homophobic, misogynist and violent lyrics.

Eminem was also attacked for being racist after it emerged he’d written a song which labelled all black girls “dumb bitches”. -source

I’m Sure she’s a nice girl BUT

Janelle Monae pisses me off a lil bit. call me mainstream but I think she’s to damn grown for the foolishness that she wears. I have to be honest and say that i haven’t heard any of her music (at least I don’t think I have) but she’s just so cute to be playing that “I need more attention” role. I mean she might as well put on a poodle skirt and a cardigan and do the sock hop. but who am i to judge WHAT DO I KNOW about fashion (except that what she wears is not it)

Diddy had some kind words for her:

Is America Ready???

Lets Talk!

With his victory tonight, Barack Obama is now the strong favorite to be the Democratic nominee for president. The only one who can stop Obama from making history is Obama. -newsweek

This is something that has been bothering me.Ever since last night when he won the caucus (whatever the hell that is) there has been Buzz that Obama is the head runner for the white house. Is America ready for a black president? I’m going to get personal because I’m black and I want to talk to the black people.

Are We (to be general) voting for Obama because he’s BLACK has black America taken the time out to sit down and research what it really is that these candidates (all) are representing. I see a lot of the black community and blogs *ahem bossip*are pushing for Obama but something in my heart tells me that we really don’t know why we are voting for Obama besides the fact that he’s black (yes he’s half white blah blah blah) but really what is it that are pulling y’all towards him….

Is it just his slogan Hope and Change? what is he bringing to the table that other candidates are not…..

I don’t know who I’m voting for right now, not that it matters who I vote for but, just because i feel like it’s important to vote (as we all should)

Lend me your thoughts on the reason why you think Obama is the best, if you can comment about Coco’s camel toe you can engage in real talk.

DMX will be putting out a double extra long CD, and one of them is *drum roll* a gospel CD. Yes one is Raw and Uncut and the other one directly connected to it is “giving God the glory”

Oh Hell yessss. I’m coping this double sided doubled up gospel/gangsta album up in herrrreee. I don’t know but that whole quote is the most blasphemous misconstrued concept I have ever heard…something just strikes me as ODD. I refuse to grasp the concept of gang banging b!tches while listening to gospel. Something is just all wrong about this….I’m sad…hell just turned up the furnace one whole notch.

I’m confused

Alicia Keys’ dress and boot getup is………Different, Interesting, Unique…I’m not sure how I feel about it, I maybe feel like the dress got caught in her panties when she went to pee. It is a pretty dress, just odd?!?…

Naomi’s Dress/see through shower curtain with sparkles is……….horrid, and quite frankly it’s making me angry……on the same note, NO one but Naomi could have pulled that horrid dress off the way she does

Something is very very wrong!!

I could be deathly wrong, but I don’t think that someones fake boobs are supposed to be melted together like that. I think they are supposed to come with a warning like please keep away from direct heat and or flames. Them bad boys have melted or maybe they are pulling her chest skin out and down, whatever is happening there needs to be stopped before her fake chest falls off

Imus you have a visitor, I bet y’all didn’t know that black people can sit down and act properly in a restaurant. Well Bill O’Reilly just learned that….Take a listen to what he had to say. and then comment if you have one.

“[W]e went to Sylvia’s, a very famous restaurant in Harlem. I had a great time, and all the people up there are tremendously respectful. They all watch The Factor. You know, when Sharpton and I walked in, it was like a big commotion and everything, but everybody was very nice.

“And I couldn’t get over the fact that there was no difference between Sylvia’s restaurant and any other restaurant in New York City. I mean, it was exactly the same, even though it’s run by blacks, primarily black patronship.”

On the same program, O’Reilly was describing his experience to NPR’s Juan Williams.

“There wasn’t one person in Sylvia’s who was screaming, ‘M-Fer, I want more iced tea,’” O’Reilly said, adding, “You know, I mean, everybody was — it was like going into an Italian restaurant in an all-white suburb in the sense of people were sitting there, and they were ordering and having fun. And there wasn’t any kind of craziness at all.”

Surprise Surprise, black people are civilized…..I guess The zoo hasn’t lost all there monkey’s, I otta jump around on my hand and feet and fling sh!t at him……maybe then we’ll be acting the way he thought we did
