The most stressful thing when decided on a business venture is thinking about the outcome. I’m one of those people that think 3 months in advance and some how neglect thinking about the next few days. I’m a visual thinrke so when I get the idea, the first thing I want to do is see it, how will it look? I want to look at it and stare at it and get inspired to see it grow. If i look at it and it’s ugly then i don’t want to do it anymore.

I started off with an entertainment site. Oh was I excited. I got a banner done, I found a cool network, I started promoting myself and my website. I wanted business cards, and I got them. I wanted 20 people to join my network in two weeks and I got that, BUT I wasn’t inspired. Something wasn’t right, maybe seeing that there were 5 other sites just like mine was the uninspiring part about it. All I know is that in 2 months, I wasn’t feeling it. I wanted more.

So I found a passion in networking and meeting people. I wanted to help people expand their brands because I have a lot of really good ideas. I wanted to be the go to person. so I founded Oriana Communications a PR Firm, still in it’s infant stage but creating a buzz, which is exciting for something that hasn’t even officially launched yet. I have given myself until March to figure things out, get things moving before I cut my red ribbon and open the doors.

Until then, I’m reading everything, and learning more. Getting my mind right to make a big impact and to put in the work needed to lift it off the ground. I’ll be using my blog to document my memoirs on becoming a small business owner. So I encourage you to come on board and enjoy the ride. I’m sure I’ll have a ton of venting to do. Smooches
